1. Capacity Control Schedule with Power BI Embedded Add-on
Administrators can now schedule Azure capacity activation and deactivation for the Power BI Embedded Add-on, optimizing resource usage and reducing costs during non-usage periods.
Schedule automatic activation/deactivation for Power BI Embedded capacities.
Configure weekly or monthly recurrence to fit operational needs, including weekends and holidays.
Easy-to-manage UI for scheduling, with options to add, edit, or remove schedules.
Logs and audit events are recorded for tracking activity.
2. Setup General Configurations in Admin Control
A new "General Settings" section enables administrators to manage essential Tenant configurations for optimized integration and connection setups.
Define Tenant name, application owner, environment type, and access URL.
Configure Google Tag Manager (GTM) integration to collect usage metrics.
Save configurations directly in the settings menu for streamlined management.
3. Post Usage Events to GA4
The solution now sends user activity events to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for advanced usage tracking and analytics.
Track glossary item additions, catalog item entries, and analytics views.
Monitor user access requests and log interactions to evaluate feature engagement.
Ensure compliance with privacy policies by avoiding the transmission of sensitive data to GA4.
4. Collect Solution Feedback in User Session
Genuz now collects user feedback via an in-app form, empowering the Product Team to gather valuable insights and improve user experience.
Admins can enable feedback collection for all users in General Settings.
Users rate and provide comments on their experience through an optional feedback form.
Feedback events are logged in GA4 for further analysis and visibility into user needs.
5. Unpublish Items in Analytics Catalog
Administrators can now unpublish items in the analytics catalog, moving them to draft status for easier republishing.
Replace “Inactivate” with “Unpublish” to revert items to draft without edits.
Prevent publishing without specifying the analytics owner.
Updated UI labels for improved clarity, including catalog and glossary renaming.
